Do you accept Credit Cards?
Yes; we accept both debit cards and credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
Is there ample parking available at the Sportsmans Arms?
We have a large car park to the rear and side of the Sportsmans Arms that can cater for a large number of vehicles.
Do you offer Gluten Free and Vegetarian options?
Yes we do, we have a wide range of both gluten free and vegetarian options, if you would like to know more, just give us a call or drop us a line for more information.
How do I book a table?
We can accept reservations by booking online - BOOK HERE, or by phone on 01803 712231
If you have a non urgent query or have a private event enquiry then you can either complete our online form or you can email direct to [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
My lunch time is limited – can I pre-order before I arrive so I can arrive & only have a short wait time?
From Monday to Friday, we offer an Express Lunch Service, where you can pre-order by phone or by email so that your meal will be ready for you when you arrive. View our menus HERE.
Can I bring my children to the Sportmans Arms?
Of course, everybody is welcome at this South Hams popular family-friendly pub which also has a large beer garden with a safe play area for children. They can then choose from a special children’s menu and the we also have colouring in to keep little hands interested.
Please remember children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Management cannot be held responsible for any injury incurred, however caused.
Do you allow dogs in the pub?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are are more than welcome in our BAR area, our heated MARQUEE or of course out in our spacious beer garden.
Your furry friend may even get a dog biscuit if he/she asks nicely! We are a popular dog friendly pub close to Dartmouth.
Sorry, but dogs are NOT permitted in the RESTAURANT area.
Do you have tables outside where we can eat?
Absolutely, we have a large outside area with wonderful sea views over open countryside, perfect for an ‘al fresco’ dining experience. You can book a table in our large marquee, or the covered patio area.
Unfotuantely food is NOT being served at all on the front patio or on the grassy areas. These tables are for DRINKS ONLY.
Can we enjoy just a drink outside?
Yes of course, sit back, relax in our wonderful spacious pub beer garden and large patio, with views over the surrounding countryside our to Start Bay. We have a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Can you recommend some local taxi companies to get us home?!
We highly recommend you book your taxi in advance if you plan on using a taxi as they do get very booked up well in advance.
